The flow and balance of Qi/Chi life force energy
Shibashi Qigong Taichi was developed by Professor Lin Hou-Sheng in 1979.
Professor Lin is a renowned Qigong master, scientist and Master Healer. It is based on the philosophy of Tai Chi and extracts some of the best movements from the Yang style Tai Chi Chuan Form. It places emphasis on synchronising the 18 movements with proper breathing techniques. It is a gentle, beautiful and flowing Qigong exercise routine that is a joy to do and can be deeply relaxing.
Qigong Shibashi is designed to improve the flow and balance of qi (chi) energy within the body, leading to an improvement in the general health and well being of the practitioner. The gentle rocking motions and stretching improve circulation and digestion. The chest exercises and controlled breathing are good for lung conditions and asthma. Michael always makes sessions enjoyable. The information he imparts on how to improve our mind & body as a whole and find inner strength and peace as a result is wonderful.
I wanted to do something that I could do inside that would help me cope with the covid lockdown and also keep me fit. I really look forward to the weekly sessions.
